巴格达最大的公园将湖畔舞台改造成一个为期一周的免费晚间活动场所：当地乐队演出、儿童剧场、卡拉达和阿扎米亚的特色美食摊位，以及树荫下的小型手工艺品市场。活动从傍晚持续到接近午夜，那时气温才终于可以忍受。记得带上垫子——大多数家庭都选择坐在草地上而不是座位上，最佳观赏点是湖西岸，夕阳西下时，活动场地会映衬着湖光山色。
