
Al Nabi Sheet Mosque
A shrine-mosque venerating the tomb of Seth (Shith), third son of Adam. A modest Ottoman tomb was rebuilt in 1815 as a grand mosque, madrasa and mausoleum by the al-Jalili dynasty that ruled Mosul; destroyed by ISIS in 2014, it was reconstructed in 2022-23.
