Muzdalifah is a large open plain about 8 km from the Grand Mosque, on the Hajj route between Arafat and Mina, where pilgrims spend the night of 10 Dhul-Hijjah, combine the Maghrib and Isha prayers, and collect pebbles for the stoning ritual at Mina.
