Khan Murjan
Built in 1359 as a caravanserai beside the Murjan Mosque, Khan Murjan is one of Baghdad's finest surviving medieval buildings — a vast vaulted brick hall that once lodged merchants and their goods along the trade routes. Restored in the 20th century, it long served as a celebrated traditional restaurant beneath its soaring Ilkhanid arches.
