The Exhibition of the Two Holy Mosques Architecture (popularly the Makkah Museum) in the Umm al-Joud area displays rare artifacts, retired components and detailed models documenting the 1,400-year architectural history of the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. Established in February 2000 and laid out across seven halls, it reopened after a major renovation with modern, interactive exhibits.
