The Kaaba is a cube-shaped shrine at the centre of Masjid al-Haram, considered by Muslims to be the most sacred site in Islam and the House of God. It is the focal point of daily prayer (qibla) and the centre of the tawaf circumambulation during Hajj and Umrah.
