
The Holy Quran Exhibition (Dar al-Madinah)
An exhibition near the south-western side of the Prophet's Mosque, opened in 2015 and covering about 1,500 square metres, dedicated to the history, preservation, recitation and meaning of the Holy Quran. It is arranged as a sequence of themed halls displaying historic manuscripts, an antique Kaaba covering, and a giant 154 kg handwritten Quran, supported by films and interactive technology. Organised by the Samaya (Holding) Company under the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
